Guest reception

: Welcome guests, provide accurate wait times, and escort them to their tables.

Reservation management

: Take, confirm, and manage all reservations and walk-ins.

Seating arrangements

: Coordinate seating to balance waitstaff workload and optimize dining room flow.

Communication

: Answer phones, handle inquiries, and introduce the server to the guests.

Front-of-house maintenance

: Keep the host stand and waiting area clean, organized, and stocked.
Additional duties

Support staff

: Assist waitstaff with tasks like running food, clearing tables, or seating guests during rushes.

Guest satisfaction

: Address guest concerns, manage special requests, and ensure a pleasant experience from arrival to departure.

Menu knowledge

: Be able to answer basic questions about the menu.
