Job responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and security of hostel residents.
• Monitor access to the hostel and enforce security protocols.
• Foster a positive and supportive living environment for students.
• Address and resolve conflicts among residents.
• Provide counseling and support to students facing personal or academic challenges.
• Enforce hostel rules and regulations.
• Communicate and educate residents about the expectations and guidelines.
• Take appropriate action in case of rule violations.
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of hostel facilities.
• Coordinate repairs and improvements as needed.
• Ensure that all amenities are in working order.
• Serve as a liaison between hostel residents and administrative staff.
• Communicate important information to residents, such as schedules, events, and policy changes.
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or natural disasters.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of hostel residents.
• Keep track of any incidents, conflicts, or disciplinary actions.
• Organize and facilitate community-building activities and events.
• Promote a sense of belonging and camaraderie among hostel residents.
• Handle administrative tasks related to hostel operations.
• Report to higher authorities regarding the status of the hostel and any notable issues.

Skills:

• Minimum 2yrs exp as a warden required.
• Minimum Graduation Required.
• Good knowledge of excel & Word.
• Knowledge of email writing.
