Job Requirements

  • Job Summary
This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of blending and movement operations of Honeywell's process solutions. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience in process control, automation, and optimization to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable material handling and blending processes, contributing to improved operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • :
  • Installation, Configuration & Implementation of Refinery Offsite Automation Solutions- Blending and Movement (HBM) suite which includes Blend Controller, Blend Optimizer, Inventory Monitoring, Movement Automation, LIMSViwer, etc.
  • Automation systems Conducting Factory & Site Acceptance Tests and handling customer expectations.
  • Interaction with customers for Scope change, schedule tracking and technical clarifications
  • Training Customer on Honeywell products Coordinating with support/developers for customized solutions.
  • Honeywell Blending & Movements latest release scenario testing as defined by the customer.
  • Developing standard operating and testing documents. Resource mobilization and allocation for BMA and OMS projects
  • Be a coach for the team Site Survey, solution design for the Offsite Automation Projects
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Honeywell's Blending and Movement software suite (Blend Controller, Blend Optimizer, Movement Control).
  • Knowledge of process control principles, instrumentation, and automation systems,
  • Experience with Process Automation systems e.g., DCS (Honeywell EPKS), SCADA and SQL Database.
  • Understanding of blending technologies and equipment.
  • Familiar with Honeywell Provisional updated, installation & Testing.
  • Knowledge of material handling systems, tank farm operations, and terminal operations.
  • Problem Solving and Improvement:
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to blending and movement processes by reviewing scripts, logs, database aspect associated with the product.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Training & Mentoring:
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff on Blending and Movement processes and technologies.
  • Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Education:
bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
10-12 years of experience in Honeywell's blending and movement operations within the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of refinery processes, tank farms, and terminals.
