Job Title: Home Care Nurse Location: Bellandur, Bangalore Company: Dr. Sunny Medical Centre Duration: Full time Shift: Day/Afternoon : Home Care Nurses provide a variety of tasks during patient visits depending on the specific plan of care and type of patient. They also provide care to patients in their homes under the guidance of a physician. They perform regular visits where they monitor the patient\xe2\x80\x99s condition, assess their wounds, and change dressings as required. Home care nurses also write reports and communicate with the doctor after each visit. Responsibilities:

• Traveling to patients\xe2\x80\x99 homes and managing their care plans according to physicians\xe2\x80\x99 instructions.
• Administering medication and insulin, and completing blood pressure, glucose, urine, and stool tests.
• Inspecting wounds, changing dressings, and handling personal grooming and hygiene.
• Testing for muscle weakness, bedsores, and any signs of infection.
• Listening to the concerns of family members and answering their questions.
• Educating caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient.
• Providing suggestions for improved healthcare to physicians and family members of the patient.
• Monitoring patient recovery and compiling reports for the physician.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in nursing or similar.
• Relevant license and certification.
• Minimum 1-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role.
• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to follow instructions but also to act independently if necessary.
• Active listening skills and empathy.
• Physical and mental strength.
• A valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and reliable transport may be required.
