Job Description

:

Operate heavy goods vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Load goods onto the vehicle and ensure they are secured properly. Unload goods at the destination. Transport goods from one location to another, often over long distances. Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency. Perform routine checks on the vehicle, including checking oil, water, and tire pressure. Report any mechanical issues. Complete delivery and transportation paperwork accurately and promptly. Maintain a high level of safety awareness, both for oneself and for other road users.

Requirements:

Hold a valid HGV driving license Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong awareness of safety procedures and regulations. Clean driving record with no major traffic violations. Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on delivery schedules.
