Hitachi Storage Consultant - Specialist (Architect)
Location: Mumbai

The Role:

Responsible for designing, configuring, and installing Hitachi Storage infrastructure - VSP5K, VSP series, HNAS, HCP (including hardware and software) that have been purchased by the organization's customers.
Must have experinece in Hitachi UCP, CI and HCI solutions for SAP, Oracle and other applications.
Must have experience in designing and deployment of various architectures including 4DC, 3DC, 2DC and other innovative architecture in alignment customer needs.
Must have knowledge in Hitachi replication technologies such as TC, HUR, NAS and HCP replications. Must have knowledge in local replication technologies.
Develop detailed low level designs and plans for implementation including plan of action, execution steps for team to implement
Develops migration plans using various methods such as NDM, UVM and replication based methods.
Advises the sales team on the technical aspects of information systems and products .
Collaborates with the sales team to estimate the costs and technical requirements of modifying, configuring, and installing information systems products to meet customer needs and systems environment .
Ensures smooth integration with customer's existing systems .
Desirable to have VmWare, HyperV architecture experience.
Desirable to have backup technologies experience such as CommVault, Veritas Veam etc.,
Prepares flow charts, models, and procedures and conduct feasibility studies to design possible system solutions .
Writes system and programming specifications so that when the system is implemented it will meet customer needs .
Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system
Conducts trainings for internal and external stakeholders.
A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Responsibilities typically include: . Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.
Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals.
Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
Must have engineering degree.
Must have at least 5-6 Years of architecture and design experince with overall experience of 12-15 Years of IT experience.
