We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

Candidate is expected to be working on GPI Application Infrastructure Modernization programme as a Google Cloud Platform Architect with below high-level responsibilities:

• Integrating 3rd party platforms, constructing CI/CD pipelines, for the Google Cloud data platform
• Drive design and coordinate development of proof of concepts and prototypes
• Liaise with senior stakeholders and decision makers that are looking into adopting cloud data solutions for their business to solve current issues
• Work with Solution Architects to identify changes required, create & agree necessary stories.
• Ensures the level of automation within the team is optimised at all times, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance
• Work with the Agile Lead to ensure efficient flow of the backlog of change activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• IT Industry experience, Experience with GCP solution design and implementation.
• Strong Cloud platform knowledge: GCP, Big Query, PostgreSQL
• Designing and Building Data Pipelines in GCP
• Containerization: Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, GKE
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible
• Strong hands-on experience in Designing & implementing Cloud solutions using GCP / GKE.
• Certified GCP Architect, mandatory

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:

• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and / or data streaming
• Demonstrable experience in data modelling & data design (both logical and physical)
• Strong technical concepts to help team deliver the technical design solutions
