Job Title - BD Executive Habitat * Designation - BD Executive

  • Reporting to - Sales Manager Habitat
  • Qualification - B.Tech (MBA Preferred)
  • Location Mumbai
  • Experience - 1-3 years
  • CTC :- Max 9LPA
Geography Coverage: West India (Mumbai based) Composites

Habitat Business

Habitat business covers multiple applications including structural glazing, interiors, signages, metal fabrication, exterior and interior cladding, retail and solar control/ safety/ blast mitigation architectural films (for new & retrofit projects).

Function Overview

A sales and marketing function performs market research, develops promotional plans and manages selling strategies. Some of important roles played by Sales and Marketing function are product development, pricing, place of sale and promotion, market research, customer profile determination, distribution strategies and brand management. POSITION SUMMARY
  • Creating product awareness at key influencers (which include architects, fa ade consultants, builders & developers, PMCs, HVAC/ Green/ Energy consultants, Facility Managers at corporates, Hospitality & Hospitals segment influencers, interior contractors etc).
  • Product specification for Solar Gard at project level
  • Key account management
  • New business development
  • Close co-ordination with Habitat Regional Sales Managers to build project hopper for Solar Gard and meet business objectives
  • Target to achieve certain value for project hopper over a defined time period
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing
  • Generating and driving specifications of Habitat products at key influencers in all upcoming and existing projects in West India
  • Competition benchmarking at regular intervals
  • Market intelligence
  • Analysis of competition activities and strategy to enhance market share for assigned products
  • Devising and ensuring effectiveness of implementation of Sales and Marketing strategies
  • Close co-ordination with sales team to effectively close live project inquiries
  • Timely submission of weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports
  • Plan and implement marketing strategies with focused activities
  • Brand promotion for Habitat product range
New Business Development
  • Expansion of product awareness in uncovered/ new territories within the assigned region
  • Support sales team in generation of sales for assigned product lines
  • Identification of new channel partners for business growth and geographical expansion
Interfacing and coordinating with other functions (Operations, HR, Finance, etc.) to meet business objectives
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations and CSD departments to provide timely support to prospective customers
Receivables Management, inventory management and material planning

Functional * Ability to understand customer requirements

  • Work experience in Habitat domain
  • Possessing technical background
  • Technical selling skills
  • Product knowledge of Composites Habitat portfolio
