Key Roles & Responsibilities: (Security Head - Kathua) * Physical Security Management

• Develop and enforce site-wide security policies and procedures.
• Monitor access control systems, CCTV, perimeter security, and surveillance.
• Supervise security personnel and ensure 24/7 coverage of the plant.
• Conduct regular security audits and inspections.
• Prepare SOP for frisking of Company Employee & Contract Labour.
• Complete tracking of all incoming & outgoing vehicles within plant.
• All the incoming & outgoing material should be verified by security personnel.
• Personnel Safety & Incident Prevention

• Ensure employee and visitor safety by preventing unauthorized access.
• Implement badge systems and visitor management protocols.
• Train staff on security awareness and emergency procedures.
• Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Management

• Prepare and manage emergency response plans (fire, chemical spill, intrusion).
• Conduct evacuation drills and coordinate with firefighting and medical teams.
• Act as the point of contact during any crisis or security incident.
• Loss Prevention & Asset Protection

• Investigate theft, vandalism, or any loss of materials or equipment.
• Work with inventory, warehousing, and transport teams to secure materials.
• Deploy GPS or RFID tracking for high-value or sensitive goods, if applicable.
• Must ensure that all In/Out of Material should be verified and signed by security personnel.
• Regulatory Compliance & Legal Coordination

• Ensure compliance with local and national safety/security regulations.
• Maintain documentation required by labor departments, police, or other agencies.
• Liaise with law enforcement and other regulatory bodies when needed.
• Contractor & Vendor Security Oversight

• Vet and monitor third-party contractors, including security agencies.
• Ensure that temporary workers and vendors follow plant security norms.
• Technology & System Oversight

• Recommend and manage security technology upgrades.
• Manage security system vendors, maintenance, and software integration.
• Ensure cybersecurity protocols are followed at physical access points (if applicable).
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Submit regular reports to plant leadership on security KPIs and incidents.
• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend continuous improvements.
• Stay updated on threats relevant to the industry or location.
