As a member of the Science Department, the teacher will be responsible for creating a dynamic learning environment that inspires students to explore, discover, and understand the world around them. The teacher will be expected to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts and encourage students to develop critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in the field of science (e.g. biology, chemistry, physics, etc.) Assess student performance and provide feedback to support their academic growth Collaborate with other teachers and staff to align instruction with the school\'s curriculum and goals Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student engagement and motivation Stay current with developments in the field of science and integrate new information and techniques into the curriculum Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on laboratory experiences and other interactive learning activities Encourage student participation in science-related extracurricular activities and competitions Qualifications: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Science or a related field State teaching certification in Science A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the high school level Strong subject knowledge and the ability to convey complex scientific concepts to students Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching science Eligible Fields: Biology Chemistry Physics Earth Science Environmental Science Note: Salary for all positions will be based on qualification and experience and will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.
