Responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with blood diseases and cancers while providing comprehensive and compassionate care.
Roles & Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage blood disorders and malignancies.
Develop and administer treatment plans including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.
Perform and interpret bone marrow biopsies and related hematologic investigations.
Monitor treatment response, disease progression, and side-effects.
Manage blood transfusions and oversee transfusion reactions.
Coordinate care with radiation oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, and other specialists.
Provide patient and family counseling throughout the treatment process.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
