Experience required: 1 to 3+ years We are currently seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions: 1. HVAC Design and Draftsman with commercial project experience 2. HVAC Design and Draftsman with pharma project experience Job description: Concept, basic, and detailed engineering of HVAC systems with specific experience in industrial, commercial, clean room, and pharmaceutical industry concepts. Assist with the preparation of engineering studies and schematic designs for new HVAC/utilities systems and analyze the operation of existing systems. New drawings are to be submitted within an average period of 2 - 5 days from receipt of all inputs. Make calculations using engineering formulas for design such as heating and cooling loads, equipment sizing, and static pressure drops, and select appropriate equipment. Participate independently in client meetings throughout the project and modify the scope of work for mechanical designs (HVAC/utilities) based on review and client meetings. Experience with various types of HVAC systems such as conventional, vrfs, dx, etc. Experience with high-side and low-side systems. Research code issues and ask relevant questions when an interpretation or exception to the design is required. Review the work of the project design teams, check the progress of the work, and alert project managers of scope changes or additional services. Provide drawings for own designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by the drafting team. Experience in preparing and reviewing Ducting Design, VRF Design, Chilled water pipe Design, single-line, schematic, section drawing, layout making, and AutoCAD layouts. Preparation of technical specifications, boq, tender documents, cost estimation, and coordination with reputed vendors in the industry. Strong background in codes applicable to clean room design. Coordination with other services. Shop drawing approvals to be taken within project timelines/site requirements. All drawings are to be submitted with full technical/quantity details. No. Of revisions to be restricted to 1 due to inadequacy in drawings from our end. To be tracked from the drawing submission schedule. Support to sales dept concerning design activities (qty take-off, preparation of scheme, etc.) During pre-sales. To be tracked from the list of projects & types of support extended.
