Head Treasury, Cairn

Location: Gurgaon

Grade: M3

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Head to lead our cash management, funding strategy, banking operations and regulatory compliance across India and overseas entities. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, governance focus and proven leadership in corporate treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive daily cash management and ensure optimal liquidity for business operations.
Lead accurate short-term and long-term funds forecasting and cash flow planning.
Manage deployment of surplus funds and monitor investment performance in line with policy.
Oversee borrowings, working capital facilities and cost-efficient funding structures.
Manage non-fund-based banking limits including BGs, LCs and SBLCs.
Oversee Indian and international banking operations, including multi-currency and cross-border transactions.
Ensure compliance with FEMA (A1/A2 Payments, IDPMS/EDPMS), RBI guidelines, ECB/ODI regulations and related statutory filings.
Strengthen treasury governance, internal controls, and authorization frameworks.
Build strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, rating agencies and support senior leadership with treasury insights.
Drive automation of treasury operations through digital cash-management, maximizing Treasury Management Solution system to improve accuracy and ensuring governance.
Payment-processing risk management by designing and enforcing controls, mitigating fraud & cyber/operational risks and ensuring segregation of duties.

Qualifications & Experience:

CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA
12+ years of relevant treasury experience in industry, including leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of cash management, borrowings, investments & FEMA/RBI regulations.
Experience with multi-entity and overseas banking operations is an advantage.
