Role & Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the issuance, amendment, and negotiation of trade finance instruments such as letters of credit (LC), bank guarantees (BG), and documentary collections Lead and mentor a team of trade finance professionals, ensuring efficient and compliant management of trade finance activities. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and internal policies, managing financial risks associated with trade finance operations. Develop and implement strategies to optimize trade finance processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs. Foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the team. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, suppliers, and customers, to facilitate smooth trade finance operations and build strong relationships. Prepare and present comprehensive trade finance reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Monitor and evaluate the performance of trade finance activities. Drive digital transformation initiatives within the trade finance function to enhance data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and overall financial management.

Qualification & Experience

:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, International Trade, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in trade finance, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of trade finance principles, international trade regulations, and financial instruments such as LC and BG, with proven experience in managing complex trade finance operations. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in financial software and tools, and demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation initiatives.
