Job Description

The Head Resourcing role focuses on leading recruitment strategies and ensuring the acquisition of top talent in the Technology & Telecoms industry. Based in Thane, this position requires expertise in workforce planning and talent acquisition to support business growth.

  • The Head of Resourcing will lead the strategic and operational execution of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Workforce Planning, and Resource Management (RMG) for the BFSI vertical. This role is critical in building a scalable, agile, and future-ready workforce aligned with the evolving needs of banking technology clients. The incumbent will drive hiring excellence, optimize resource utilization, and enhance the employer brand to attract top talent across the industry
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive hiring strategy covering campus, lateral, and mass hiring for BFSI tech roles (e.g., Core Banking, Digital Channels, Payments, Risk & Compliance).
  • Build and manage a robust talent pipeline for niche and emerging skillsets.
  • Partner with business leaders to forecast hiring needs and align recruitment plans with delivery timelines.
  • Drive diversity hiring and ensure adherence to compliance and governance standards.
2. Campus Hiring & Early Talent Programs:
  • Build strong relationships with Tier 1/2 engineering and management institutes.
  • Design and execute campus engagement programs, hackathons, and internship-to-hire models.
  • Develop structured onboarding and career acceleration programs for fresh graduates.
3. Lateral & Mass Hiring:
  • Lead high-volume hiring drives for project ramp-ups and new client wins.
  • Collaborate with delivery and pre-sales teams to align hiring with project timelines and SLAs.
  • Leverage recruitment analytics to optimize sourcing mix, reduce cost-per-hire, and improve quality-of-hire.
4. Resource Management Group (RMG):
  • Oversee RMG operations to ensure optimal bench management, internal fulfillment, and billability.
  • Drive internal mobility and redeployment strategies to reduce external hiring dependency.
  • Monitor and improve key RMG metrics: bench aging, utilization, and fulfillment TAT.
5. Workforce Planning & Analytics:
  • Lead strategic workforce planning in collaboration with finance and delivery teams.
  • Analyze demand-supply gaps and build proactive hiring and upskilling plans.
  • Use talent analytics to drive decisions on hiring, retention, and workforce mix.
6. Talent Management & Development:
  • Design and implement frameworks for career pathing, succession planning, and HiPo development.
  • Partner with L&D to create domain-specific learning journeys for BFSI technologists.
  • Lead performance management, talent reviews, and engagement initiatives.
7. Employer Branding:
  • Build and execute a strong employer branding strategy to position the company as a BFSI tech employer of choice.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications to amplify EVP through digital, social, and campus channels.
  • Represent the organization at industry forums, job fairs, and university events.
Other:
  • Oversee ATS Implementation and Adaptation (PeopleStrong, Sales Force & Quest Data)
  • Build key and trusted relationships and engage senior stakeholders locally and globally to collaborate effectively (Delivery, Sales, HR & Other Corporate Functions)
Responsible for employer branding - internal, external, social media making sure the company is a brand of choice
