Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide JOB PURPOSE : Reporting to the Director, Compute & Cloud delivery you will help to build the Alstom Transport strategy, the service management organization of compute & cloud services including public cloud services, the integration of business & commercial solutions in Alstom Infrastructure landscape. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities : Your scope worldwide comprises delivery Compute & Cloud services to Alstom Transport business through its service providers hosted out of 3 Global Datacenters, 5 public cloud services regions (Azure & Oracle ) and more than 100 Local data rooms across the world. The ideal candidate should enjoy a balance of strategic thinking and \'rolling up the sleeves\' to drive tactical issues A \'go-getter\' approach to take on a range of issues will be critical You will apply your project management and leadership expertise to ensure that your team meets scope, quality, time, and budget targets You will be accountable for project planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and achievement of the targets set for delivery of services, while also being responsible for the delivery of the scope within the agreed level of quality, timeframe, budget, and other agreed KPIs/SLAs As apeople manager, you will be tasked to for attracting, developing, and retaining talent to build and maintain an effective team You will manage relationships efficiently and communicate with key stakeholders to ensure that production support is not only aligned with the customer requirements, but also adds value to their business You will be able to display your in-depth technical and hands-on knowledge of operation systems, serving as a professional authority, and leading the team during adversity You will be able demonstrate innovative with process and product engineering, while promoting Alstom principleand deliverables, setting up foundation practices and standard operation procedures You will prioritize activities (self, team, external) to understand and implement reuse of best practices and follow up on them Driving the cloud transformation of the company Deliver Compute & Cloud services to Alstom Transport globally through. Building technological components and services to continuously optimizethe infrastructure landscape Contributing & leading innovation topics in alignment with Organizational objectives PROFILE: To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes: Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology, you have around 12+ years of experience in IT Service Management, especially on hosting and cloud services. You have very good technical skills on different topics. Cloud Certified ( preferably in Azure) You are experienced in working in a multi cultural environment Working with an outsourcing partner A keen knowledge of hosting technologies : Datacenter and cloud urbanization Hyperconverged solutions Virtualization OS: Linux, Windows, AIX, Solaris Databases: Oracle , MSSQL, MYSQL, POSTGRE Virtual Applications and Desktop: Citrix A keen knowledge and experience of public cloud providers is demanded (especially Microsoft Azure) A good understanding of all Devops methodology and tooling Good communication, efficiency and ability to execute. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.
