Job Description
The role is to support the General Manager in realising business strategy and S&OP targets thereby leading production, supply chain, warehouse, purchasing departments
Reporting to the GM- Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Plant Director in achieving strategies and S&OP targets
- Handling end-to-end responsibility of manufacturing operations of the plant
- Managing responsibilities of Procurement, Production, Planning, Projects, Stores, Maintenance, and other plant processes
- Striving for the highest quality of products (raw materials and finished)
- Developing and maintaining network of vendor
- Working on customer queries, complaints and others to ensure resolution of issues
- Focusing on plant efficiency, team management and handling cross functional stakeholders
An ideal candidate is an engineer with 12+ years of experience with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership position in a manufacturing set up. They should be from electrical/electronics industry. They have a strong understanding of Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Purchasing. They should have worked on the medium voltage switchgear and other electrical components. They should have experience of managing team of 15 - 20 members. They should possess clear concise communication and presentation skills and would be able to work in a dynamic cross functional environment.
