Job Title: Maintenance Head Location: Mumbai, India About the Company: One of the leading International Restaurant Chain Key Responsibilities: Equipment Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and other restaurant facilities. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure the timely repair or replacement of faulty equipment. Facility Management: Manage the upkeep of the physical restaurant space, including plumbing, electrical systems, and general infrastructure. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards related to health, safety, and environmental concerns. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular training sessions for staff on safety practices. Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for maintenance-related services and supplies. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives. Foster a culture of accountability and excellence within the maintenance department. Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans to address unforeseen maintenance issues. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to minimize downtime during critical situations. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in the retail or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Familiarity with local regulations and safety standards. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
