Job Description
Position: Head of Logistics Department
Location: Pune
Quaification Required: Bachelor\'s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Experience Required: 15+ years of experience in logistics management.
Job Discription:
Develop and implement the company\'s logistics strategy.
Manage the logistics budget.
Negotiate contracts with Transporters for hiring trailers for movement of cranes.
Liasioning with Government Departments for registration and renewal of licences for company owned trailers and multi-axle lines.
Monitoring and ensuring smooth compliance of E-way Bills.
Ensure compliance with all regulations i.e. RTO Registrations, National Permit.
Managing Insurance of the trailers owned by company including transit insurance.
Monitor performance of the company\'s trailers and identify areas for improvement.
Monitor the recruitment of trailer drivers and other staff for smooth operations of company owned trailers.
Train and develop the logistics team.
Preparation of MIS and submitting to the Management on regular interval basis.
