• The Head of IT Applications will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of IT applications within the organization.

• Lead the planning, development, and implementation of IT applications to align with business objectives.
• Oversee the management and maintenance of existing IT applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative technology solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in application development and deployment.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of projects and services.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of IT applications and recommend improvements.
• Develop and manage budgets for IT application projects and initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the IT applications team to achieve departmental goals.

The Successful would be:

• 12-20 years of experience in IT with deep expertise in enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, BPM, workflow, and custom applications).
• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programmes in global or matrixed organisations.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, cloud platforms, and data-driven enterprise models.
• Hands-on experience working in environments where analytics, digital operations, and automation play a central role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams and manage complex vendor/partner ecosystems.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global product owners, business leaders, and CXO-level stakeholders.
• A track record of driving governance, process excellence, and continuous improvement across the application portfolio.
• Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to translate business objectives into scalable technology solutions.
