Head of Information Technology SUMMARYThe Head of Information technology will oversee the infrastructure of technical operations, strategy, managing the team of IT, directing the effective delivery of networks, development, tracking technology to achieve business goals, minimize security risks, increase user satisfaction, maintain operations and systems.VISION To strategize, plan, organize, execute, and oversee the IT department and ensure effective delivery of networks, manages the network and server infrastructure of the company.SCOPEHead of IT responsible for overseeing the technical infrastructure within the organization, lead and guide the IT team, determining business requirements for IT systems, managing the design and implementation of IT infrastructure, and eliminating security risks and also oversee the organization's help desk.Please review the APC Organization Chart available on OUR TEAM page (https://apcwo.org/about-us/our-team)ROLE DESCRIPTIONThe responsibilities of the Head of IT include but are not limited to the following:1. Determining business requirements for IT.2. Identifying and eliminating security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions that increase data security.3. Directing and supporting the implementation of new software and hardware.4. Identifying and recommending new technology solutions.5. Managing the organization's help desk (internal, external, or both)6. Coordinating IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as necessary.7. Optimizing business IT processes.8. Monitoring and improving IT efficiency.9. Assessing, monitoring, and upgrading business systems and processes.10. IT security and governance.11. Managing and developing the business IT division.12. Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.13. Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.14. Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.15. Performs other related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• A minimum of 8+ years of total full-time professional work experience.
• As much of the work at APC is technology driven, preference will be given to those with a strong IT/software development background, who understand current advances and opportunities that digital technology make available for Christian ministry. Preference will be given to those who have engaged in software development, system architecture and cloud computing. Understanding AI and ML with ideas on its application to Christian Ministry, a big plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in a large organization, preference will be given to those with prior work at a multinational corporation.
• Must be passionate about local church ministry, discipling, equipping and empowering people for Kingdom purposes.
• KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent analytical, management and leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Thorough understanding of IT and practical applications to support organization goals. Should have hands on experience or familiar with the below technologies.1. PHP with frameworks like Joomla / Symfony / Laravel on LAMP stack2. Dotnet C# / MSSQL /Entity Framework.3. Python / Django4. HTML5 / CSS / JavaScriptADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES At APC we are continuously growing and expanding hence, you will be required to share in additional responsibilities.
