We are a rapidly growing multi-chain restaurant group known for our authentic cuisine, operational excellence, and strong customer focus. As we expand our footprint, we are looking for a highly skilled Head of Finance to lead all financial, accounts, and purchase operations across our restaurant outlets and central office.
Role Overview
:
The Head of Finance will be responsible for controlling and managing all aspects of Accounts, Finance, and Purchase for the organization. This role requires deep experience in the restaurant or hospitality sector, strong financial leadership, and the ability to streamline processes in a fast-paced, multi-outlet environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Accounting
Oversee complete accounting operations, including AP/AR, reconciliations, payroll coordination, audits, and compliance.
Ensure timely preparation of P&L statements, balance sheets, MIS reports, restaurant-level performance reports, and dashboard analysis.
Monitor outlet-level revenues, food costs, labor costs, and overall profitability.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking operations.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Develop annual budgets and financial plans for all outlets and central teams.
Track monthly forecasts, variances, and financial KPIs to support management decisions.
Provide insights to improve cost control, menu costing, vendor payments, and operational efficiency.
Purchase & Procurement Oversight
Lead the Procurement and Purchase team to ensure cost-effective, high-quality sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and operational supplies.
Review vendor contracts, negotiate rates, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Implement processes to reduce pilferage, wastage, and procurement inefficiencies.
Internal Controls & Compliance
Establish strong internal financial controls across outlets.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GST, TDS, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage the Accounts and Purchase teams.
Ensure timely reporting, accuracy, and adherence to processes.
Work closely with Outlet Managers, Operations Heads, and senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Professional certifications such as CA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred.
Minimum 8-12 years of financial management experience, preferably in restaurant, F&B, hospitality, or retail sectors.
Strong knowledge of restaurant cost structures, inventory control, menu costing, and financial KPIs.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multi-location operations and high-volume transactions.
