At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, \xe2\x80\x98anchor\xe2\x80\x99, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction: The Head of Client Data Operation will facilitate and manage operations data flow to resolve client entities and mitigate duplicity risk, (S)he will lead team using range of products and utilities to ensure comprehensive, timely and accurate operational oversight for teams, senior leadership, service buyers, audit activity & regulators. What will you be doing?
The role holder will be accountable for:
  • Create new operations flow based on Quantexa vendor-based solution to remediate client duplicate.
  • Own the client data management elements of the New Business and Onboarding process.
  • Account for client data connectivity success inclusive of performance metrics, client and employee experience, and performance guarantees.
  • Partner closely with Technology, and other functions within the Operations organizations within Barclays to ensure client data is exchanged in modern formats that creates proficient service experiences.
  • Manage relationship and execution with strategic vendor partnerships that perform work activities in the space of API connections and data exchange.
  • Lead the development and implementation of appropriate business procedures for the Client Data organization, inclusive of API development, designs the appropriate organizational structure and staffing models, and ensures that organizational structure and processes are properly aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee a team of direct and indirect reports to ensure all aspects of technology enablement leveraging Quantexa based tool for client data and utilization to deliver an exceptional customer and employee experience.

  • Knowledge of client data implications in financial crime and KYC onboarding
  • Demonstrated expert in the space of client data, data exchange methods, key external partners in the data space and AGILE methodology for delivery of capabilities.
  • Strong leadership experience with a proven track record of transforming processes and experiences, and a passionate and demonstrated talent mindset.
  • Adept at articulating a vision, providing associates with a sense of purpose, and driving an energetic organizational climate.
  • Ability to consult and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to solve complex problems and improve quality and service
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to interface, influence and collaborate with senior leaders across the enterprise. Able to work across businesses to gain buy-in and build partnerships to achieve objectives.
  • Innovative problem solving and strategic thinking skills, along with strong business and operational acumen and analytical capabilities. Proven success in process excellence, continuous improvement, and project management.
  • Ability to identify and create solutions that are focused on the customer experience with the ability to think, analyze and design \xe2\x80\x9coutside in\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and balancing competing priorities

Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with customer-driven operations strategies
  • Hands on experience with Creating, Maintaining & publishing exception reports.
  • Ability to own, present & explain complex scenarios/data sets & business insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Exposure of working with technology partners to come-up with improved workflows.
  • Exposure to driving & proposing process improvements based on data review/data visualization and data crunching.
  • Should be able to apply industry knowledge & data driven approach to improve client data
  • Exposure to extensive usage of external sources to gather entity information & ability to trouble shoot out of box scenarios. Exposure to tools/engines like Quantexa, D&B, Company House would be added advantage.
  • Handling & execution of time sensitive reports
  • Exposure to tools like Alteryx, Python, SQL, VBA or data visualization tools
  • Degree or record of accomplishment in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related scientific disciplines.
  • Experienced in stakeholder management at a senior level.
