We are looking for a seasoned and strategic global communications professional, who can lead CRISIL\xe2\x80\x99s corporate communications strategy and efforts across people communications and media relations. We are ideally looking for someone who understand what it takes to craft and execute a winning media relations strategy in India and globally (especially markets such as US, UK); and someone who brings a campaign-led mindset to people communications, as a tool to enhance employee experience within a diverse, multinational organisation. This is a team lead role, and in addition to defining the overarching communications strategy, the leader would also need to groom and nurture a team of internal communications and media relations professionals, ensuring they deliver on the strategy with a high degree of effectiveness. Media Relations:
  • Develop and manage CRISIL\xe2\x80\x99s global external communications strategy for key businesses in India (Ratings, Market Intelligence & Analytics) and global (Global Research & Risk Solutions, Global Benchmarking Analytics).
    • Help position CRISIL as a trusted partner of choice for clients globally when it comes to providing actionable insights \xe2\x80\x93 leveraging analytics and technology \xe2\x80\x93helping them solve mission critical problems.
  • Play the role of a C-suite advisor to CRISIL leaders for their external thought leadership and media visibility agenda.
  • Create a messaging framework for media engagement aligned to the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s strategic imperatives \xe2\x80\x93 short-term and long-term
  • Drive proactive and reactive thought leadership for our subject matter experts to showcase their analytical insights across a wide-cross section of business sectors.
  • Crisis communications: Providing timely support and counsel to management, to frame an accurate, timely and relevant crisis communication strategy, in alignment with internal stakeholders. Also, drive scenario planning for potential reputational issues.
  • Manage the efforts of PR agencies in India and globally and monitor and measure success of PR campaigns
  • Maintain proactive, high-level professional relationship with key editorial leaders in India and globally.
  • Stakeholder management at a CXO level \xe2\x80\x93 internally & externally
People Communications:
  • Craft and oversee implementation of an engaging and effective people communications strategy to:
    • Drive a motivated and engaged global workforce
    • Amplify CRISIL\xe2\x80\x99s employee value proposition
    • Help evoke a sense of pride among employees of being part of a new-age, people-first organisation
  • Create a messaging framework and oversee an annual calendar of people communications campaigns with key strategic pillars for the organisation.
  • Create memorable employee experience content and campaigns across platforms such as physical, virtual & hybrid events, on the intranet, through emailers
  • Bring in multi-dimensional content through videos, podcasts, thought leadership session etc.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders such as HR and CEO\xe2\x80\x99s Office to execute these campaigns in a timebound manner.
  • Take ownership of CRISIL\xe2\x80\x99s intranet platform and ensure it remains buzzing with relevant and engaging content for employees
    • Evaluate new innovations possible with nature of content and format of content on the intranet
