Job Description

A head mixologist creates and manages the beverage program, including designing new cocktails and supervising bar staff, while maintaining inventory, ensuring quality standards, and providing excellent customer service. Key responsibilities involve crafting unique drink recipes, maintaining a well-stocked and clean bar, training junior staff, and staying current with industry trends. Essential skills include deep knowledge of spirits and techniques, leadership, creativity, a strong sense of customer service, and adherence to health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities

Beverage Creation:

Develop innovative and appealing cocktail recipes and design engaging drink menus.

Bar Management:

Oversee the bar's operations, including inventory, stocking, cleanliness, and maintenance.

Staff Leadership:

Train, supervise, and mentor junior bar staff on preparation, service, and beverage control policies.

Customer Service:

Interact with guests to take orders, serve drinks, provide knowledgeable information, and address any issues.

Inventory and Purchasing:

Manage beverage inventory, conduct regular spot-checks, control costs, and assist with purchasing procedures.

Compliance and Standards:

Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and company policies and procedures related to the bar area.

Industry Trends:

Stay informed about the latest trends, techniques, and product developments in the mixology and beverage industry.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

Mixology Expertise:

Extensive knowledge of various liquors, beers, wines, non-alcoholic beverages, garnishes, and preparation methods.

Creativity:

Ability to develop unique, high-quality, and on-trend drink concepts.

Leadership:

Strong leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate a bar team.

Customer Service:

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent service and build guest satisfaction.

Attention to Detail:

A meticulous approach to drink quality, presentation, and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and resolve guest issues effectively.

Financial Acumen:

Understanding of cost control, inventory management, and sales principles.

Experience:

Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist, ideally with leadership responsibilities.

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
