Job Description

A head mixologist is a senior bar professional responsible for creating and executing a bar's beverage program, including designing unique cocktails, training bar staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high-quality service standards. Key duties involve menu development, crafting signature drinks, ensuring efficient bar operations, supervising and mentoring junior staff, maintaining cleanliness, managing costs, and providing excellent customer service and a creative beverage experience. Key Responsibilities

Beverage Program & Menu Development:

Design and develop innovative cocktail menus, signature drinks, and beverage promotions.

Staff Training & Leadership:

Train, supervise, and mentor bar staff on mixology techniques, customer service, drink preparation, and company standards.

Inventory & Cost Control:

Manage bar inventory, monitor beverage usage, control costs by preventing waste and theft, and ensure proper purchasing procedures are followed.

Quality & Presentation:

Ensure all drinks are prepared to the highest standards, with attention to the quality of ingredients and presentation.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service, address guest needs and complaints, and gather feedback to improve service.

Bar Operations:

Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the bar area, ensure bar equipment is in good condition, and maintain stock levels of supplies.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Adhere to and enforce all health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the bar area.

Trend Awareness:

Stay informed about current industry trends, new techniques, and popular beverage offerings to keep the bar competitive.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

Mixology Expertise:

Extensive knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, cocktails, and innovative mixing techniques.

Leadership & Management:

Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of bartenders effectively.

Creativity:

The ability to create unique, appealing, and flavorful drink recipes.

Customer Service:

Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and providing a positive experience.

Operational Skills:

Proficiency in inventory management, point-of-sale systems, and bar equipment handling.

Communication:

Strong communication skills to interact with staff, management, and guests.

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous in ensuring the quality, consistency, and presentation of beverages.

Adaptability:

Ability to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced environment and work flexible hours.

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
