Role Summary/Purpose:

This position will lead and direct all facets of materials management including, but not limited to, Material planning, production planning, fulfilment, logistics, warehousing, inventory management and master scheduling, financial costing, Provide leadership and direction on a cross functional basis. Deploy Lean and Six-Sigma methodology to simplify and improve material transactions. Exhibit outstanding leadership and effectively communicate well with all levels of the organization including senior leadership

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building relationships with Global and Enterprise-wide suppliers and managing key supplier performance against business requirements using proven processes; ensures adequate inclusion of diversity suppliers.
  • Acts as a representative of the Corporation with a relentless drive to ensure our Company is maximizing Supplier\xe2\x80\x99s core competencies, provides a fair opportunity for sustainable growth, and optimizes the spend
  • Developing KPIs according to Annual Operating Plan, meeting those KPIs, and streamlining the value chain between teams
  • Creating a culture of excellence across the Supply Chain and related teams
  • Ensuring a constant flow of materials, goods, and products at accurate prices and quality
  • Creating and implementing best purchasing practice, vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance
  • Identifying and prioritizing right levers to ensure timely execution of the strategy and supervising data driven long-term planning for all categories
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives to simplify and standardize processes and policies to bring about tangible benefits.
  • Balance multiple conflicting priorities of Scale increase, Metrics performance and Cost optimization and achieve the targets in each area as decided in the annual plan
  • Evaluating the challenges faced by the business and taking action to mitigate risks and developing opportunities
  • Building effective vendor relationship by managing the vendor life cycle including performance assessment to ensure quality & timely deliveries You will also be responsible for majoring site related vendor interventions and resolutions.
  • Support 3PL vendors with process expertise to facilitate performance and cost control
  • Ensuring smooth project execution by adhering to the policy, budget, time and quality stipulations and enabling upstream and downstream interfaces to ensure positive collaboration for seamless work environment.
  • Building a strong motivated team of category managers and team members for the package, ensuring appropriate work allocation, and creating ample opportunities for their career development.
Candidate Profile:

Qualification: B.E with any specialization

Experience: Total 18-20 years of Experience and 5 years in leadership roles
