Job Description

Drive end-to-end land acquisition for renewable energy projects across India. Lead strategy, negotiations, compliance, and team execution to ensure timely land availability.

  • Develop and implement land acquisition strategies for renewable projects.
  • Identify suitable parcels and conduct legal, technical, and environmental due diligence.
  • Negotiate agreements with landowners, aggregators, and authorities.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and secure all necessary approvals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies and local communities.
  • Manage risks and resolve disputes proactively.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets; analyze grid connectivity potential.
  • Lead and mentor land acquisition teams; collaborate across legal, BD, finance, and construction.
  • Track permits and deadlines; provide accurate MIS reports to senior management.
  • Drive process improvements and innovative approaches to reduce costs and timelines.
