Job Description

The Head HSE will lead and oversee all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management within the site location. This role requires expertise in implementing safety protocols, ensuring compliance, and fostering a safe workplace environment.

• Develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental strategies and policies.
• Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international HSE regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to address potential hazards.
• Lead and manage HSE audits and inspections to ensure continuous improvement.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE policies and practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and develop action plans for improvement.
• Manage incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Safety Engineering
• Recognised Diploma in Safety from an institute of repute
• Atleast 20-25 years experience at a leadership role in large high hazard incidents
• Very good stakeholder management skills
• Should possess strong technical authority and decision-making
