Job Description

The Head - Financial Planning and Analysis will lead the financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting processes within the organization. This role requires an individual with expertise in financial services, particularly in Housing Finance, to drive financial performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Develop and implement financial planning and analysis strategies to support business goals.
• Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Provide actionable financial insights to senior management for decision-making.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track organizational performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment across departments.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for stakeholders and board members.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

A successful Head - Financial Planning and Analysis should have:* Strong Understanding of NBFC/HFC sector

• Should know VBA

• Should have ability to work with large volumes of data across systems and excel sheets

• Strong expertise on FP&A is mandatory, especially in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, P&L analysis etc

• Excellent finance and accounting skills

• Excellent soft skills - the person will be required to work closely with senior leadership hence presentation / communication skills need to be top notch

• Sound understanding of Accounting and Financial Mathematics

• Proficiency in MS Office

• A history of building teams and managing performance - The ability to assess, recruit, develop and retain talent is critical. This individual should be able to utilize the strengths of key players, hold people accountable for agreed-to results, promote teamwork across organizational boundaries, break down functional silos to optimize business results, and encourage overall performance
