Responsibilities

  • Achievement of the Sales Revenue Plan \xe2\x80\x93 In Total, by Sales Group, by Sales Territories & Customer to meet or exceed company goals.
  • Ensures reporting sales team design and execute effective business plans linked to the overall business strategy; directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices to expand market share.
  • Drives to meet top line targets and recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
  • Reviews the sales performance of each territory and primary product group category to determine the successful performance of each, or determines the needed root cause / countermeasure analysis, responsible for the ultimate execution of the countermeasures and actions.
  • Develops close relationships with key customers throughout the field sales territories and works with each region to help close critical sales opportunities.
  • Manages the goal deployment as well as participating in the monthly policy deployment process by presenting the insights discovered through analytics and assembling those insights into a consistent message.
  • Ensures that an effective sales training and development program is in place to help each representative progress in their overall capabilities.
  • Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives, and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with Marketing.
  • Prepare business plans inclusive of market sizing, SWOT analysis, and market projections.
  • Attends field-based sales meetings, client meetings and industry meetings and expositions as required.
  • Able to prepare and deliver impactful executive-level presentations, ad-hoc analysis and special assignments as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.
  • Total 15+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with 5+ years in a field sales leadership role, preferably within a technical or capital equipment sales industry.
  • Experience in the plastic extrusion and/or injection molding industry is a plus.
