Roles & Responsibilities:

+ Drive implementation of

VSAP

, ensure timely closure of audit findings and CAPA. + Lead

HSE budgeting

, planning, and governance for the business. + Guide teams in conducting

HIRA

and implementing risk mitigation across operations. + Investigate all

safety and environmental incidents

, perform RCA, and close actions within defined timelines. + Ensure

regulatory compliance

and liaise with statutory bodies for environmental and safety clearances. + Deploy

digital tools

(e.g., Enablon) to enhance safety, monitoring, and reporting systems. + Lead periodic

safety audits, inspections, and health surveys

; promote VFL culture. + Facilitate ESG training and awareness in collaboration with HR. + Drive horizontal learning from Group-level ESG incidents and ensure CAPA deployment.
+ Contribute to

decarbonization, biodiversity, and water management

initiatives aligned with Vedanta's ESG goals

Desired Attributes:

+ 15+ years of experience in ESG/HSE, preferably in mining or heavy industry. + Strong knowledge of Indian EHS laws, sustainability frameworks, and audit systems. + Engineering background; additional qualification in EHS/ESG preferred.
