Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive commissioning plan for PLC systems, aligning with overall project timelines and milestones.
Coordinate with control system engineers to define testing protocols for different PLC components and control loops.
Develop protocols for real-time troubleshooting of PLC-related issues during commissioning.
Coordinate with control system engineers to implement corrective actions and address any PLC anomalies.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on timelines and objectives.
Implement strategies for continuous optimization of PLC control algorithms and strategies.
Establish performance monitoring systems to track the effectiveness of PLC control loops and identify opportunities for improvement.
Lead and manage electrical projects within the potline, including upgrades and new installations.
Coordinate with other departments and contractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for projects.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and automation issues in the potline.
Work with the maintenance team to resolve complex technical problems.
Utilize diagnostic tools and software to analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of electrical systems in the potline.
Ensure the efficient functioning of PLCs and related control systems.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures.
Respond to and resolve electrical and automation issues promptly.
Lead the design and configuration of PLC systems, ensuring alignment with potline control requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with instrumentation and control engineers to define control logic and system architecture.
Oversee the programming and implementation of PLC systems, including coding, testing, and debugging of control logic.
Ensure the seamless integration of PLC systems with other control components, such as DCS (Distributed Control System) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).
Conduct dynamic simulations to test the response of PLC systems under various operating conditions.
Oversee the testing and tuning of control loops to optimize process parameters during commissioning.
Manage the configuration of alarm systems and integrate HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) with PLC systems for efficient monitoring and control.
Optimize alarm settings to ensure timely detection and response to abnormal conditions.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and legal safety regulations, as well as industry standards.
Stay informed about changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to safety protocols.
All audits related to quality. SAP, MIS & MES.
Develop and deliver safety training programs for personnel involved in commissioning activities.
Manage the compilation and organization of comprehensive documentation related to electrical systems, including schematic drawings, equipment specifications, and maintenance manuals.
Ensure that safety systems are integrated into maintenance activities, with a focus on minimizing risks during commissioning.
Collaborate with safety officers to implement and monitor safety protocols.
Ensuring continuous improvement in quality system of ISO-9001, ISO-1400 and OHSAS-18001
