Job Description

A Head Chef for Modern Indian Cuisine is responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu creation, staff management, food preparation, and quality control. They must have a deep understanding of modern Indian culinary techniques and flavors, along with strong leadership and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities:

Menu Development:

Create and refine menus that incorporate modern Indian cuisine trends while staying true to traditional flavors and techniques.

Food Preparation & Presentation:

Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistent quality and presentation standards.

Staff Management:

Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

Quality Control:

Maintain high culinary standards through quality checks, ingredient sourcing, and adherence to safety regulations.

Cost Control:

Manage kitchen budgets, minimize waste, and optimize food costs to ensure profitability.

Innovation:

Stay updated with culinary trends and techniques, experimenting with new flavors and presentation styles.

Health & Safety:

Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.

Pay: ?120,000.00 - ?150,000.00 per month
