Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate

Continental Head Chef

to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional continental cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of European and international culinary traditions, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and develop continental menus, ensuring variety and seasonal balance. Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations. Ensure consistent quality in preparation and presentation of all dishes. Monitor food stock and maintain kitchen inventory, placing orders as necessary. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with health & safety regulations. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B team on menu planning and kitchen strategy. Innovate and introduce new dishes to keep the menu fresh and appealing. Control food costs and minimize waste without compromising on quality. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and kitchen SOPs.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Continental Chef, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institute preferred. Expertise in European and international cuisines (Italian, French, Mediterranean, etc.). Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong understanding of food costing, kitchen budgeting, and inventory control. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Passion for food, creativity, and presentation.
