Production Management & Quality Control:
Oversee and manage the daily production of all baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, traditional Indian sweets, and seasonal specialties.
Monitor product freshness, appearance, and shelf life, taking proactive measures to minimize waste and maximize product quality.
From time to time experiment with new techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles to expand the product offering and keep the bakery competitive.
Conduct regular taste tests and solicit feedback to refine existing recipes and ensure product excellence.
Create and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet production demands efficiently.

Operations & Maintenance:
Ensure all bakery equipment (ovens, mixers, proofers, etc.) is well-maintained, clean, and in proper working order.
Coordinate with maintenance personnel and production manager for timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
Preparing Consistent Production quality in timely manner
Develop innovative and seasonal/ festival items, ensuring a balance of flavors, textures, and presentation.
Focus on flavours and fillings for the savoury items.
Oversee the preparation of all these items , ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for Timely service.

Regularly assess staff performance and provide feedback, training , and development report to management .
Monitor stock levels, coordinate with store keeper & production manager for supplies, and ensure efficient inventory .

Maintain a clean and organized production area at all times.
Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in a commercial bakery, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership/managerial role
Proven experience in a high-volume, busy bakery setting, preferably one with a strong legacy or traditional focus in India.
Demonstrable expertise in quality control, food safety (HACCP, FSSAI regulations), and sanitation standards.
Skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by a busy bakery.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
