Job Description
Job title – Head - Test Management for Sherpa (Finance Manager)
About SHERPA X – Currently Siemens is working on a Business Transformation project globally to transform the End-to-End processes and implement state of the art SAP technology. Plan is to use Agile framework for implementation of the redesigned processes. Test management is a critical function to ensure co-ordination in the testing between different instances / systems to ensure that adequate testing has been done on the functionalities. The role includes:
- Test Manager for the Release owning the e2e test concept, way of working, documentation standards, test tooling and test automation
- Rolling-out the e2e test concept, way of working, documentation standards, test tooling and test automation to new teams and training of testers
- Defining the test scope for the release with the respective stakeholders
- Aligning closely with the various products and also with customers on the test plan and the progress against the plan
- Coordinating the testing activities for the release and following-up on completion in the agreed timeline
- Escalation Management and facilitating the resolution of blocking points in order to keep the agreed timeline
- Reporting of test status to Release Management and Project Management
- Good executive presence
- Very good communication skills
- Good stakeholder management
- Ability to understand the technical scope of the work package and come up with test plans / improve existing test plans to secure smooth go live
- Ability to stay calm during high pressure situations
- Team handling skills.
