The Role Responsibilities

The P2P Lead for Singapore and Asean Markets is a key Leadership role within Plan to Perform delivering Business partnering and Performance Management for Singapore and Country performance management for Asean countries (Malaysia/Thailand/Vietnam).

Broad areas covered within this role include

  • End to End ownership for Singapore & Asean Markets (MY/VN/TH) business performance reporting and analytics requirements
  • Strategic direction and oversight of creating standardised Performance Reporting through digital assets
  • Build target state organisation in line with Agile Operating Model
  • Drive the Aspire programme, shaping the future design of processes and the requirements for the new technology.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in leading high-performing teams.
Business and Process for Singapore \xe2\x80\x93 Segment and Country Performance management
  • Develop an effective organisation structure for Singapore, well balanced to achieve process standardisation and deliver specialist business / functions advisory capability
  • Collaborate with Singapore Leadership team to develop and execute the Singapore organisation design covering onshore and offshore locations
  • Ongoing re-calibration of Singapore operating model and invest in talent to balance efficient standard process delivery along with content driven analytics and decision support
  • Service Delivery support for Reporting, Planning and analytics to support business growth
  • Accountable for delivery of all performance reporting and analytics outcomes across products, segments, cost management, central performance management, region, and country requirements
  • Deliver organisational synergy through CoE\'s enabling bandwidth to create SMEs to support change delivery and other value-added outcomes
Asean Markets (MY/VN/TH) Country Performance Management
  • Partner with Business Heads and CFOs to drive and manage Country Performance for Asean Markets performance management
  • Lead the Service Delivery for Asean Markets & Country CFO and their PM teams through enhanced analytics and decision-making support
  • Build high performance FP&A teams driving global standard, optimised service offerings
  • Drive Centralised and Standardised processes through targeted Transitions and creating optimal Operating model across ASEAN markets
  • Drive execution of identified improvement opportunities and wider P2P initiatives
  • Support implementation of tools to contribute to finance organization design, outcomes, and requirements
People and Culture
  • To lead, inspire and motivate the teams ensuring that everyone achieves their potential and that the team delivers its collective agenda
  • Enhance overall culture of the organisation, with improved My Voice scores, through targeted actions
  • Build and execute a People Engagement strategy that encompasses timely & relevant updates as well as social engagement to improve overall employee well being
  • Employ, engage, and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.
  • Responsibility to review team structure/capacity plans.
  • Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.
Controls and Risk Management
  • Represent P2P in-Service Review engagements with CFOs, provide management insights and address any CFO level actions from the Review meetings
  • Act to minimize operational loss and audit failures and take proactive measures to respond to matters arising and identify and manage forward looking risks.
  • Through assignment of direct and indirect reports, establish and maintain an appropriate framework and procedures for monitoring, identifying, measuring, assessing, reporting, and managing compliance, regulatory, financial crime, operational and reputational risks
Regulatory and Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
