HW Eng II – QUAL Test This is an exciting HTS opportunity supporting the Electronic Test (ES-ET) group in leading the QUAL Test team. The purpose of the HW Engineer II role is to ensure QUAL Test technical excellence as an End State team addressing multiple Aerospace products in collaboration with stakeholders ranging from Product Engineering, Obsolescence Engineering, Qualification. X-SBG support from SPS & HBT groups. The role demonstrates technical leadership across Honeywell in one or more technical/people disciplines and takes ownership for identification of technical challenges and solving the complex Qual test. This role, of HW Engineer II for Qualification Testing activity across Global, includes the following responsibilities:- Building the lab test infrastructure to meet customer needs [Obsolescence COE, NPI & HES]
- Maintain and sustain NABL certification for both Aero Qual lab at BLR
- Capable of setting up the test set up, test execution and troubleshooting any test related issues
- Technically well-grounded within the assigned area of work – Aerospace Qual test and capable of developing & reviewing all technical documents.
HTSIND2022 Qualification: • Bachelor or Diploma in Engineering with 5+ years of Qualification Test Execution Skills:
- DO-160, MIL STD, D6 testing
- Environmental testing, EMI/EMC Test
- Building the test lab infrastructure to meet customer needs
- Qualification test documentation development & review – QTP, QTR
- Test lab maintenance
- Capable of setting up the test set up, test execution and troubleshooting any test related issues
- Qualification Test Lab management – planning, scheduling, managing multiple stakeholders
- Aerospace product qualification experience is essential.
