Position Summary

Siemens Advanta (Bangalore) is looking for experienced Senior Hardware Engineer to develop hardware for their industrial and mobility business units. The ideal teammate should be a technically strong, flexible, possess a strong work ethic and enjoy solving problems. Primary Responsibilities

• Electronic circuit design for new requirements and redesigning of existing modules.
• Proto electronic board testing and trouble shooting.
• Work effectively both within a team and cross-functional team to drive identification and resolution of issues efficiently.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, provide necessary help to teammates.

Qualifications

• BTech/BE or MTech/ME in ECE /EE/Instrumentation or equivalent degree.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Embedded hardware design and development

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in Embedded hardware design using microcontroller, microprocessor, FPGA, CPLD, Soc\xe2\x80\x99s.
• Experience in high-speed memory circuit design using DDR, SRAM, EEPROM, SD Card.
• Experience in signal converter design using ADC and DAC.
• Experience in analog circuit design using BJT, MOSFET, diode, OPAMP etc.
• Experience in designing the DC-DC converter topologies like LDO, Buck, Boost, and flyback.
• Working knowledge on communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Profibus, CAN and Ethernet etc.
• Experience in mixed signal PCB design and in-depth knowledge of SI, PI analysis.
• Experience in redesigning, testing and qualification of the highspeed electronic boards.
• Hands on experience in SPICE based simulation tool like LTSPICE.
• Hands on experience of ECAD tools like Altium, Zuken, Mentor graphics etc.
• Hands on experience with tools like Vivado, Quartus, Eclipse etc.
• Working experience in designing the electronic circuit to qualify for EMI and EMC certification.
• Handson experience in using lab equipment like oscilloscope, logic analyzer etc.,
• Experience in BOM cost analysis, alternate part selection, Obsolescence management, reliability analysis like FMEA and MTBF.
• Experience in characterizing RF circuits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills.
• Basic soldering skill.

Desirable Skills

• Able to work independently and mentor juniors / help teammates.
• Able to write VHDL / Verilog firmware.
• Able to write Embedded firmware.
• Able to automate the test equipment using LabView or python.
