Your future duties and responsibilities As a Senior Lead in the Guidewire Configuration Stream of work, the role would expect you to be hands- on in delivering the following; \xe2\x80\xa2 Requirement Elicitation \xe2\x80\x93 Have a clear understanding of Client requirement(s) and have a technical perspective \xe2\x80\x93 aligned with Guidewire OOTB flow \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare Unit test(gunits), Technical Design Documentation \xe2\x80\xa2 Customizing the Guidewire Product \xe2\x80\x93 Ability to comprehend functional requirement and implement the required customization of the product in terms of UI flow \xe2\x80\xa2 Data Model Development \xe2\x80\xa2 Business Logic (Rules) Development \xe2\x80\xa2 PCF Screen ( User Interface) Development \xe2\x80\xa2 Experienced in handling requirements related to : o LOB Mapping o Localization for different Locales etc \xe2\x80\xa2 Development using Gosu for Classes and Enhancement \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate and Conduct Code reviews \xe2\x80\x93 provide valuable design and implementation suggestions to the team Required Skill Set Extensive experience on the following \xe2\x80\xa2 GOSU, Core Java, J2EE, Web services, JMS \xe2\x80\xa2 Exposure and Awareness of Property and Casualty Insurance Business \xe2\x80\xa2 RDBMS concepts and SQL knowledge \xe2\x80\xa2 Working and delivering in the Agile/Scum practice is highly desirable \xe2\x80\xa2 Guidewire Certifications highly preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in Tools such as JIRA/SVN/GIT, Ant, Maven, Hudson/Jenkins, SonarQube Required qualifications to be successful in this role Required Experience: 4 to 7 years overall IT Experience - At least 3 years actively in the role of a Guidewire Configurator
