Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - Guidewire Configuration Developer! Responsibilities In this role, you will be a play role of a Senior Developer / Developer in our Insurance Platform Transformation practice and would be responsible for Configuration of Guidewire platform (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) for Insurance carriers. Candidate will be working with Insurance SMEs, Business Analyst, integration developers to support end to end agile development lifecycle. Qualifications we seek in you Minimum qualifications BE/B Tech/MCA Excellent written and verbal communication skills Agile Development Experience Preferred experience and qualifications . Knowledge of P&C Insurance domain (Policy, Claims, and Billing applications as per product requirements) . Proven development experience in Java and SQL, strong object-oriented programming concepts using design standards and best practices . Hands-on experience in planning, designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging, and maintaining GOSU language application code within Guidewire Insurance Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and/or ClaimCenter) . Certification on Guidewire Insurance Suite (PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter) . Prior experience configuring screen layouts, creation of new screens (PCFs), configuring workflows, roles and permissions, user attributes regions, and activity patterns, organizing code merges and environment management tasks . Experience performing minor and major Guidewire software upgrades . Prior experience with XML, GUnit/JUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools . Prior experience with Application Servers like WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss and/ or Tomcat Apache and JBOSS . Experience with Guidewire Product Designer, Rating Engine, Product Model, and Data Model will be nice to have .
