Guest Service Associate (GSA) - Restaurant & Executive Bar

Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality food and beverage service to guests in the restaurant and executive bar while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, adherence to service standards, and maintaining a pleasant dining and bar experience in line with a 4-star property's brand standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesService & Guest Handling
Welcome and seat guests courteously, ensuring a warm and professional first impression
Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve them promptly
Provide menu knowledge, including ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings
Upsell menu items, premium beverages, and promotions where appropriate
Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints efficiently and politely
Restaurant & Bar Operations
Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and presentation as per service standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of service areas, dining tables, bar counters, and equipment
Assist bartenders in preparing service areas and replenishing bar stock
Follow standard operating procedures for service sequence and billing
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service
Hygiene, Safety & Comliance
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (FSSAI / HACCP guidelines)
Ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with hotel policies and local laws
Adhere to grooming, uniform, and personal hygiene standards
Teamwork & Reporting
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth service operations
Assist in opening and closing duties of restaurant and executive bar
Report equipment issues, stock shortages, or guest concerns to supervisors

Basic knowledge of food, beverages, wines, and spirits
Ability to work under pressure and during peak hours

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary / Diploma in Hotel Management preferred
1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or bar in a star hotel (freshers may be considered)
