Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
Ensure tables are properly set up and maintained throughout service, including clearing and resetting.
Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintain thorough knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
Assist in setting up and breaking down service areas before and after service periods (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area and service stations as per hotel and safety standards.
Check with guests to ensure satisfaction and anticipate additional needs.
Upsell food and beverage items to maximize revenue.
Assist in inventory management, such as stock control and requisition of supplies.
Cooperate with all other hotel departments to ensure smooth service operations.
Follow all cash handling and billing procedures accurately.
Adhere to grooming and personal hygiene standards as per hotel policy.
Attend departmental briefings, trainings, and meetings as required.
Support banquet and event service operations as needed.
