Job Summary:

The Steward - F&B Service is responsible for providing exceptional guest service in the restaurant, banquet, bar, or other dining areas. The role involves ensuring prompt and efficient food & beverage service, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:



Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables. Present menus, explain menu items, and take food & beverage orders accurately. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct portions and presentation. Clear tables, reset for next guests, and maintain cleanliness throughout service. Provide recommendations for food and beverage pairings when required. Ensure timely refilling of water, beverages, and bread baskets. Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety guidelines as per hotel standards. Handle crockery, cutlery, and glassware carefully to avoid breakages. Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas. Teamwork & Coordination Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely order delivery. Assist fellow team members during peak service hours. Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the kitchen/bar. Upselling & Revenue Generation Promote special dishes, promotions, and events to guests. Suggest upselling options such as premium beverages, desserts, and combo meals.

Skills & Competencies:



Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Pleasant personality and guest-oriented attitude. Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours.

Qualifications & Experience:



Diploma or certificate in hotel management or F&B service (preferred). 0-2 years of experience in F&B service; freshers can be trained.

Physical Requirements:



Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Carry trays and serve food & beverages safely.

Work Environment:



Restaurants, banquets, bars, coffee shops, and other hotel dining outlets. Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?14,000.00 - ?16,000.00 per month
