Key Responsibilities:

Guest Interaction:

Greeting guests upon arrival and providing a warm welcome. Assisting with check-in and check-out procedures. Handling guest complaints and resolving issues promptly and professionally. Providing information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.

Communication and Coordination:

Maintaining clear and effective communication with guests. Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues. Providing detailed information about the hotel, city, and local area.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of guest interactions, preferences, and feedback. Updating guest profiles with relevant information.

VIP Guest Handling:

Overseeing VIP guest arrivals and departures. Arranging special services or amenities for VIP guests.

General Support:

Providing support for front desk operations as needed. Performing basic cashier activities when required. Maintaining guest lockers for safe custody. Assisting with special events and promotions.
Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills:

GREs need to be able to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.

Strong customer service skills:

A genuine desire to help and create a positive experience for guests is essential.

Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills:

GREs need to be able to identify and resolve guest issues quickly and efficiently.

Organizational and multitasking skills:

The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment is crucial.

Knowledge of the local area:

Being familiar with local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options is helpful.

Language skills:

Proficiency in multiple languages is often an advantage, especially in international settings.

Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is often preferred.

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is beneficial.
