Job Description

A Hotel Guest Relations Executive (GRE) is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction through a range of duties, including greeting guests, assisting with check-in/check-out, handling inquiries and complaints, and coordinating services. Key responsibilities also involve VIP guest management, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, and ensuring the lobby area is welcoming. Guest services and engagement

Greet guests:

Provide a warm and professional welcome upon arrival and a fond farewell at departure.

Assist with check-in/check-out:

Ensure these processes are smooth, efficient, and without delay.

Handle inquiries and complaints:

Address guest questions and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.

Coordinate services:

Work with departments like housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance to fulfill guest requests.

Manage special requests:

Handle tasks like booking transportation, spa appointments, or restaurant reservations.

Maintain guest information:

Handle reservations, keep guest records updated, and log important details.
VIP and relationship management

Manage VIP guests:

Provide special attention to VIPs and corporate clients, including pre-registration formalities.

Build relationships:

Foster long-term guest relationships to encourage repeat visits.

Seek feedback:

Proactively gather guest feedback during their stay.
Operational duties

Knowledge management:

Stay current on all hotel services, promotions, events, and local attractions.

Maintain the lobby:

Ensure the reception and lobby areas are clean and welcoming at all times.

Cashiering:

Perform basic cashiering activities when necessary.
