Manage reservations and walk-in seating using our booking system or manual log.
Organize and monitor the waiting list; provide accurate wait times to guests.
Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
Communicate guest needs to servers and kitchen staff (e.g., special seating requests).
Keep the host stand, entrance, and lobby area clean and presentable.
Answer phone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and take reservations.
Handle guest concerns promptly and politely or escalate to a manager when needed.
Assist in monitoring dining room flow and table turnover to maximize efficiency.
