Responsible for Design and corresponding validation of mechatronics products inline with the standards/process

Responsibilities

Highlight the main responsibilities
? Mechatronics Design Leader is responsible for design & validation of products compliance with mechatronics requirements as
below.,.
Good in knowledge on mechatronics parts & functions
IP regulations & corresponding Sealing technologies to achieve the same
Clearance & Creepage norms
Processes involved in assembly of electronics products
EMI and corresponding EMI approach to overcome it.
Connectors & Bus bar design
Thermal management in electronics
Participate in DFMEA
Defines and evaluate mechanical/mechatronics concepts & designs
Creation of specifications & requirements, with/under support.
Design & validation of components inline with DFM requirements
Prepare the detailed part and assembly drawings, applying GD&T to ensure proper form, fit and function.
Design of proto samples & Testing/Process Fixtures
Is responsible for verification of the design by calculations, tolerance analysis and simulation
Develops innovative and reliable solutions that fulfil specifications.
Contribute to the efficiency improvement by producing fast or automated processes
Ensure completion of milestones as per the defined target & budget
Creates simulation orders for mechanical analysis and reviews the results, with/under support
Validation of electronics, Defines tests on component level, with/under support
Participate to Customer meetings where needed
Contribute to Quality QRQC meetings in cases of Quality issues

Secure Product Robustness, apply standards
? Enforce standards for methodologies for arriving at realistic design solutions
? Call for the support of experts and / or his network as needed
? Organise Design Reviews, brainstorming sessions,participate in supplier reviews to clarify supplier design queries.
? Manage link with other networks, call for hierarchical support if needed
? Secure availability of all required inputs (technical or cost front) to perform "right first time"

Qualifications

Professional Experience

6+ years of experience in handling mechatronics Projects.
? Previous Experience in design of mechatronics products.
? Knowledge in Inverter/OBC/DCDC Products
? Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Casting, Plastics, Sheet metal)
? Knowledge of GD&T, Stackup analysis.
? Should have hands-on experience in Catia and PLM.
? Experience in automotive industry
