The team you'll be part of


The Customer Experience organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups. While bringing deep understanding of local markets for our customer, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will be supporting Tendering resoponses for Mobile Networks Network Planning & Optimisation Services. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE :

  • Understand Network Planning & Optimization portfolios, market needs and priorities and thus, support RBC presales Solutions team to create offer/proposal with related activities (scope, risk, and cost management) for all customers.
  • Drive the NPO Pre-Sales Solutioning efforts in the MNS in collaboration with Pre-Sales and Delivery Team. Own the Customer Solution NPO technical design (Product, Services, Architecture), working closely with HoS, CX and Head of SBMU for an optimal solution, providing also technical expert support as required.
  • Support RBC to create opportunities in Niche Services space like Automation, Design & Optimization through Consultative Engagements and Co-Create models for Value based Outcomes to Digitize customer Operations
  • Good understanding of 2G,3G,4G,5G, Cloud vRAN/ORAN related technologies from Assurance and Fulfilment areas, articulate the key Value proposition of the portfolio offerings and especially in the areas of new Technologies where NPO can play an Anchor role in the Services Lifecyle Management
  • Demonstrate People Management skills including Manpower Planning, Selective Recruitment, Induction & Training, Tasking & Delegation, Performance Monitoring & Feedback, Skill Upgrade, Career Planning, Recognition & Reward, Motivation & Mentoring of the team.
  • Proven track record with Sales, Pre-sales support, Sales Management processes.
  • Excellent Rapport & relationship with various stakeholders.
  • Proactively support, identify, and qualify MN related business opportunities across Markets in co-operation with RBC Presales, HoS and CX, in alignment with Mobile Networks strategy, roadmaps and customer technology needs.
  • Provide continuous feedback and suggestions based on RBC/Customer discussions to the Services Business and Product Line for any enhancements in the portfolio offerings to cater to the changing needs and demands of the Customer
  • Define and document technical customer solutions, respond to related technical/solution portions of tenders, and prepare solution reference costing along with customer presentation regarding technical solution and related value proposition.
  • Provide beyond offer support to RBC Consultants by understanding customer needs, translating them into requirements, manage requirements and thus, transform them into solution.
  • Lead RFx discussions and other attributes of the tendering process. Maintain and help colleagues in ensuring in time and quality solutions for respective Service Business Line. Create qualitative and quantitative argumentation to justify the Solution.
  • Describes Nokia offering and value propositions in a holistic and compelling way that makes them easy to understand, engages our RBC customers and captures their attention.
  • Ability to guide team & colleagues to provide bid deliverables (e.g. SoC, risk log, project, assumptions, SOR, acceptance, etc.)
  • Contributes to risk management development by sharing risk management experience, best practices and thus coaching bid team in risk management.
  • Reflects actions, opinions and feedback from customers and documenting lessons learned in all sales phases according to bid guidelines.
  • Support internal initiatives for Digitalization like X-SU, CPQ, SSD, SPARK, benchmarking, Upsell, KPI, Procurement & new technologies
  • Contributes to promoting NETWORK PLANNING & OPTIMIZATION services to the wider Nokia community by establishing strong relationship and credibility with RBC, customer's key stakeholders
  • Makes sure that right competences mix is present in the teams, and hire people with broad, business focused, and customer-centric skills.
  • Ensures implementation of global processes and tools, continuous support to Market teams to meet the Sales targets.
  • Support Market teams to implement the Market level/Market Specific programs more effectively and efficiently.
  • Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, Data Science etc. to improve the quality, availability of the services & to enhance the customer experience along with Opex savings.
  • Analytics Tools understanding for business data Analysis.
  • Involved in Cost approval review process and doing Solution sign-off for product managers to ensure quality of offerings from GSS.
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity, ability to work under pressure to deliver results and meet timely outcomes.

  • Implementation and usage of internal & global tools and processes in markets.
  • Cost management for NETWORK PLANNING & OPTIMIZATION services in all sales phases according to bid guidelines.
  • Quality and Innovation Management
  • Support Global teams in updating and developing services portfolio and cost management tools.
  • Supports cost management audits and assessments in markets.


SKILLS, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Skills :
  • Expertise & knowledge of multiple wireless technologies across the entire wireless broadband evolution chain, ranging from GSM, 3G/UMTS and Femtocells to 4G/LTE and 5G.
  • Strong technical acumen for Network Planning & Optimization portfolio with insights on automation.
  • In depth knowledge of Nokia MN technology, products, Services and experience with network planning, e-2-e network performance.
  • Proven experience in handling complex bids.
  • Adequate interpersonal skills and customer management skills with Customer Business Understanding
  • Experience in Project Management/field experience would be an added advantage
  • Bid capability, Sales Processes and Tools,
  • Scoping, Costing, Pricing & Profitability,
  • Solution Selling and Risk management
  • Team Management, Good co-ordination, and orchestration skills (virtual team environment).
  • Has delivery experience and ability to think out of box.
  • Proactive collaboration and sharing, Leading, and coaching in virtual teams.
  • 360-degree view of pre-sales, sales, delivery experience is required to build solutions

Education & Experience :
  • B.E./ B Tech/ Masters in Electronics/Communication/Telcom
  • Experience of 20 years actively involved in Telco/IT project planning/implementation


It would be nice if you also had:
